About Me
My name is Beth Richmond, and I run Forestside Grooming, a professional dog grooming studio established in 2006, and serving the Waterside area of New Forest & Southampton. Since then, I've met some wonderful dogs (as well as their human friends) and built an enviable reputation for providing high-quality grooming and care for dogs. I have 2 decades of experience caring for dogs, and I currently have two Labradors. I hold a degree in zoology, and a Level 3 diploma in dog grooming from the City and Guilds of London Institute. Additionally, I regularly attend continuous professional development and canine first aid training to stay updated in my field. Anyone who prioritises their dog's welfare is welcome at Forestside Grooming! I like to collaborate with clients to ensure their dogs get the very best treatment, and animal welfare is always at the heart of what I do.
Most breeds and mixed breeds are catered for. You can choose anything from a bath and dry to a full groom, which will include clipping and scissoring to the breed standard or owner preference. The studio is fully equipped and has a separate bathing and drying area, including a self service dog wash. All dogs are treated with the utmost care, and their comfort is a priority.
